With its graceful, restrained proportions, the Crono settee reflects the lines of its namesake armchair. The solid wood structure – Canaletto walnut or ash, stained in various shades – displays the kind of workmanship that clearly expresses the company’s flair for embracing the heritage of Italian cabinetmaking tradition as its own. As unique as it is sophisticated, the seat back is entirely hand-woven in a design made from cowhide cord. Three cushions in soft goose down make the seat back extremely comfortable, while the seat cushion is made of polyurethane foam covered with a protective laminated fabric. The Crono settee is an exquisite object with a bold personality that can function as a stand-alone piece or in combination with any of the seating options in the Flexform collection.

The Grandemare sofa was designed with an eye to understatement, but it is rich in (sometimes hidden) design solutions that reveal its many virtues. It is a clustering of geometric shapes – that are nonetheless soft and entirely free of sharp corners – that rest on a cowhide-upholstered wood platform. Tone-on-tone or contrasting color grosgrain piping enhances the seat, armrest and seat back upholstery. An epoxy-powder-coated metal perimeter frame, set back from the edges of the cowhide-clad platform, gives the Grandemare sofa the appearance of floating.

The sophisticated aesthetic language that distinguishes the Guscio sofa is also expressed in the design of the solid wood base – in Canaletto walnut or ash, in various colors – or metal, in a number of finishes. The Guscio sofa comes in two widths: 128 cm width with base in wood or metal, and 220 cm width that is only available with the metal base.

Design as memory: conceptual simplicity and influences tied to childhood memories inspired the design of the Lee armchair and settee.
The solid wood structure – in ash and Canaletto walnut – is entirely hand-crafted, as are the woven backrest and seat made of paper rush cord. This old-fashioned but completely natural material with excellent resistance to wear is revived here as a tribute to tradition, with the satisfaction of creating something that will last a lifetime and be passed down to the next generations.
Both the Lee armchair and settee offer the option of adding soft cushions with removable upholstery.
