The small armchair Do-Maru is named after the ancient armour worn by samurai warriors, made up of painted and decorated thick leather plates that covered and protected the hero’s body. Like the swivel armchair Almora, designed by Doshi-Levien in 2014, once again the shell of the seat is made up of a couple of superimposed bodies, softened by paddings that can be upholstered with either fabric or leather. The cast aluminium back support boldly underlines the conical profile of the small armchair, while the anterior support is in tubular metal with different finishes, studied to match the colours of the body.

Almora is a revolving chair named after the Indian region that offers a breath-taking view of the Himalayas and, quoting its designers, it longs to be “a haven from the world, a place for contemplation and reading from where one can admire magnificent snow-capped peaks. As protective as a second skin, enveloping like a soft blanket”. Dedicated to relaxation, it is composed of two conical glass fibre shells: that of the seat resting directly on the base and that of the backrest. The headrest, in curved wood in different finishes, has a padded portion and fits into the back shell, appearing at the same time slightly detached. Almora is an armchair that stands out for the balanced composition of the different elements, the materials and the leather upholstery. The coordinated footrest completes the proposal.

Enveloping braided volumes are combined with padded rock-like seats and soft cushions that reflect the elegance, comfort and refinement of B&B Italia’s indoor products. Sensually shaped, their double braiding creates air pockets that grant transparency and lightness to the collection.
Doshi Levien was founded by the designers Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien, who met at the Royal College of Art. The London based studio is internationally renowned for its marriage of culture, technology, industrial design and fine craftsmanship. Nipa grew up in India and studied at the National Institute of Design; Jonathan trained in fine cabinet making followed by industrial design. Together, they strive to create work that transcends rational and functional qualities, to imbue a sense of true inner beauty in their projects. Nipa’s practice is rooted in her plural upbringing and astute eye for visual culture; and Jonathan’s in industrial precision, combined with the sensibility of a maker’s hand and deep understanding of materials. What makes their work so distinctive is not just their confident relationship to colour, material and form, but the ability to translate meticulous design ideas to the context of production. This has enabled them to work coherently across industries and categories, including lighting and furniture.

I have exclusively worked with Lineaselect for my house renovation project. I have bought ceramic tiles and other bathroom fittings from them at a very good price. As with any house renovation project, the choice of good material makes all the difference. I started communicating with Jaunius with a simple price offer which evolved into more like continuous communication on range of different products.
He was always very responsive and precise with the information and his brand knowledge is impressive. From the selection to delivery, the whole process was super smooth and transparent. I was a bit unsure about damages during the shipping, however, my order arrived without a single damaged item. Asite from Lineaselect handled the ordering and delivery process very professionally and she was always quick with updating me about the order and delivery status.
They are my go to people for any future home improvement projects and I highly recommend them!

Great experience! Marazzi tiles are fantastic and the price was very reasonable. Much lower than buying in UK. Jaunius & team were very efficient and helpful!

Got delivered tiles to south of France. Just amazed but their client service! Delivery was done exactly has discussed and was a bit faster.

I ordered tiles from this company, and I must say, their delivery service wasexceptional. The tiles were delivered promptly and in perfect condition. The packaging was secure, ensuring that the tiles remained intact during transit.
