The structure of the Leplì pouf is in birch plywood and poplar with uprights in solid beech and infill in kraftliner. In the version with storage compartment, the side shells are in moulded rigid polyurethane, the metal parts of the opening mechanism and the zips are in nickel-plated steel and zamak, and the lid is in birch plywood. The base is in poplar plywood with a scratch-resistant black lacquered MDF bottom. The seat is padded with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding (the model with storage compartment has polyurethane foam padding for the structure and lid). The Leplì poufs can be upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric with an ornamental leather band. When the upholstery is in leather the ornamental band is always the same colour as the pouf. In the leather version four folds originate from the central button of the seat to define the profile of the pouf. In the fabric version the folds are replaced by stitching.

The colours have also been carefully selected. Four elegant two-tone combinations inspired by bird plumage: Dove (ecru and turtledove), Sparrow (graphite and liquorice), Peacock (baby blue and royal blue) and Cardinal (dark red and cherry red). When draped across the bed or on the armchair, the darker shade on one side of the Chamonix quilt and the lighter shade on the other create interesting three-dimensional effects.
Every detail is exquisite. The Poltrona Frau logo is hand-stitched in contrasting turtledove-coloured silk thread. The fringe of the quilt stands out for its subtle variations in size and colour: 3 mm on the two longer sides with a tone-on-tone effect and 15 mm on the two shorter sides and in the same colour as the hand-stitched logo.

The four-poster structure of the Volare bed, in solid ash with triangular cross-section and moka finish, tapers towards the top, gradually becoming thinner and lighter. The footboard and bed frame boards are made of tulipwood and entirely upholstered in Cuoio Saddle Extra or Pelle Frau® leather, just like the headboard, which is made of solid beech with internal crossbars in birch plywood and infill with hardboard panels. Two soft and sumptuous pillows, padded with polyester wadding, are attached to the headboard via two belts in saddle-leather or leather.
