The idea behind these bookshelves is that of playing withshapes and juxtaposing different modules to create a
variety of visual effects. The Dogma bookshelves are
designed around a basic element, namely the
tear-drop-shaped uprights which change the visual
perception. The design thus becomes rounded and soft or
sharper and narrower depending on the angle from which it
is viewed. The Dogma collection has three different
modules which can be combined at will. They feature
different spacing between the uprights, which when placed
side by side, allow different combinations to be created.
The Dogma bookshelves can be placed along a wall or
free-standing in the centre of the room acting as a partition
between two areas.The Dogma bookshelves are available
with Canaletto walnut or coal oak shelves combined with
metal uprights, or in monocolor version.

As its name suggests, the main characteristic of theBackdrop sideboard by Alain Gilles is the vertical cut of
the doors, which evokes a sense of calm, thanks to its
repetition along the entire length.The design of this
piece of furniture is well-structured, drawing inspiration
from the façades of the modernist buildings: the
vertical lines hide the grooves used to open the doors.
The frame defining the sideboard is light and goes
almost unnoticed, designed to discreetly and elegantly

geometric appearance, which gives the possibility of
creating original configurations by combining multiple
elements in a creative way. Especially in the version with a
top in painted steel wire, Tectonic continually changes its
appearance according to the perspectives from which it
is observed, creating distinct plays of light and shadow. A

The padded top section is the same in both Belt and Cross,with no straight lines but only curved surfaces that gently
complement each other, gracefully floating on their base.
They are distinguished by their bases, which give each of
them a distinct personality: the Belt pouf’s round metal base
plays with the concept of stability, while Cross’
cross-shaped wooden base is the detail that makes this
accessory immediately recognisable. While their similarities
make them ideal for pairing together, like two members of
the same family with opposing personalities that

The shapes of Eddy draw their inspiration from the cyclingworld, from the minimal and elemental graphic design of
the fixie, the vintage bicycle. “If you think about it, many of
the first prototypes in the history of design were made in
cycling workshops,” explains Alain Gilles, the designer of
the armchair, “because that’s where the masters of tubular
metal manufacturing were, and they had the expertise
required to make those objects with such essential style.”
The Eddy armchair is built, using the same logic as bicycle
construction, around a tubular metal frame. Even the way in
which the various parts of the frame are connected - using
“quick release” fittings - is an obvious reference to the
cycling world. The many colours in which the metal frame is
available, and the countless choices among leather,
eco-leather and fabric for the seat, make graphic play
possible. The armrests can be embellished with side
pockets which are useful for storing books and magazines
or to keep remote controls within easy reach. Eddy is
available with headrest (Eddy up) or without (Eddy).

Structure Sofa was born from the idea of playing withthe structure of a classic sofa, to reveal an inside that is
softer and to create a dynamic movement between the
seat and the backrest. The metal core is in some places
visible, in others it is partially hidden, giving it an
absolutely informal look. The colours of the metal frame
can in fact be chosen tone-on-tone or in contrast to the
upholstery, thus creating an unexpected visual effect.
The upholstery, in fabric or leather, is fully removable.
Structure Sofa allows maximum modularity, thanks to
the numerous elements, which make it possible to
create, in addition to the linear sofa, solutions with
chaise longue or corners, combining comfortable poufs
or coordinated armchairs. Its innovative design is
particularly admired, and has allowed it to win prizes
and recognition, among them, the Henry Van de Velde
Label.

Geometric Table Wood catches the eye thanks to its
shape, in particular that of its legs. It is a transforming
shape-shifting table that changes the perception of
its figure by playing on perspective: with a hypnotic
visual effect, it looks different depending on the point
of view, thanks to the drop-shaped silhouette of the
four legs. The scenic presence of the Geometric
Table Wood is further enhanced by the ebony used to
make both the top and the legs, as if the table were
carved from a single block of wood.

Mass Table was designed by Alain Gilles to celebrateBonaldo’s eightieth birthday. The table has a base with a
formal lightness that is a reminiscent of Victorian crinoline
and three-dimensional wireframes, that is, representations
of three-dimensional computer graphics. The top, in
contrast, occupies the visual space with a strong aesthetic
personality and seems almost to float in the void. In this
way, Mass Table subverts the traditional image of the table
with an imposing base and a thin top. The base is available
in metal, painted in a variety of shades; the top can be in
different types of glass, marble, ceramic or solid wood. The
many finishes available allow a result to be obtained in the
most classic or markedly contemporary taste.

The top of Cross Table rests only on a thin structure, but it isthe wooden base in the shape of a cross that gives the table
its solidity and structural force. The design of the table
offers a collective vision where the role of each element
emerges in relation to the others in an appealing contrast
between straight lines and soft curves, between masculinity
and femininity. The three different and distinct elements
that compose it offer the possibility of creating various
combinations of finishes and colours, from the most

In 2019, Alain Gilles met Bonaldo and anunconventional idea emerged, a bold design for a

2019, a special edition to celebrate the 10th
anniversary of an icon was presented. The
distinguishing feature of Big Table is its base, made
up of four laser-cut steel legs that intertwine and
overlap, of which the perception changes,
depending on the observer's perspective. It is a
play on equilibrium, a magical contrast between
the linearity of the top and the dynamism
suggested by the inclined legs. Ten years after its
launch, Big Table is offered in a special edition to
celebrate this vital milestone in the history of a
product, which has become a true icon of design.
In this new version, the table has a rectangular
Saint Denis marble top with a strong graphic
pattern and colours with extraordinary intensity.
The top is combined with the steel base painted in
the same colour, thereby creating a single whole
that never ceases to astound and inspire.

Like train tracks, there are two parallel steel rails that makeup the tabletop extension mechanism and determine the
appearance of the table. Tracks is an extendible table
which, by varying the colour details and materials,
succeeds in bestowing completely different personalities
on the various versions. The tracks are available in various
colours and can be combined with wooden legs and a glass
top, deliberately transparent in order to allow the table's
frame to be the focus of attention. The formal simplicity and
the possibility of varying the lengths to allow a wide variety
of uses of the top make Tracks the perfect table, not only
for the dining room but also the study.
Born in 1970 in Bruxelles (Belgium). After studying Political Sciences and Marketing Management, Alain Gilles went on to work in the financial world. Then, he went back to studying Industrial design in France. He opened its own studio in 2007 in order to pursue his own dreams and develop his personal approach to product design, furniture design, art direction and interior architecture. In 2012, he was named “Designer of the Year” by the prestigious Interieur Kortrijk Fair”.

I have exclusively worked with Lineaselect for my house renovation project. I have bought ceramic tiles and other bathroom fittings from them at a very good price. As with any house renovation project, the choice of good material makes all the difference. I started communicating with Jaunius with a simple price offer which evolved into more like continuous communication on range of different products.

I was a bit unsure about damages during the shipping, however, my order arrived without a single damaged item.
