The padding uses both hand-shaped vegetable horsehair and rubberised horsehair and the seat cushion is in goose down with a polyurethane foam insert to help maintain its form over time. Almora is a revolving chair named after the Indian region that offers a breath-taking view of the Himalayas and, quoting its designers, it longs to be “a haven from the world, a place for contemplation and reading from where one can admire magnificent snow-capped peaks. As protective as a second skin, enveloping like a soft blanket”. Dedicated to relaxation, it is composed of two conical glass fibre shells: that of the seat resting directly on the base and that of the backrest. The headrest, in curved wood in different finishes, has a padded portion and fits into the back shell, appearing at the same time slightly detached. Almora is an armchair that stands out for the balanced composition of the different elements, the materials and the leather upholstery. The coordinated footrest completes the proposal.

A chair and stool in two heights, Papilio can be used in formal contexts, while also allowing for a more informal use by leaning on one of the back’s “wings”, inspired by those of a butterfly (or “Papilio” in Latin). The formal balance derives from the constant thickness of the shell and from the shape of the seat, which is sinuous in the upper part and then merges with the light steel frame. Upholstered in either leather or fabric, Papilio’s cover can be removed using a metal zipper on the back, a functional and decorative detail that characterises the entire line of chairs of the same name.

Sir Vito is a multi-purpose small table. Rounded shapes and variable height are the main features, as well as a small extractable tray it can be equipped with. The surface of the top, supported by an asymmetrical four-spoke die-cast aluminium base, gently flexes into the front of the tray, creating a naturally fluid form. The uniformity of the curve is also guaranteed by the movement of the tray, which is revealed by revolving on itself. The shaft conceals a convenient piston mechanism regulated by a ring nut that makes it easy to choose the height. Sir Vito is available in three versions. The first has a top and tray in ebony-stained frisé maple, a finish that enhances the nature of the wood by emphasising the grain and enhancing the perception of the precious nature of the material, with a structure in a bronzed nickel finish. The second features a single-colour painted top, tray and frame in different satin shades. The third combines the verve of the satin colours with the elegance of the bronzed nickel structure.

Ribes is a modular seating system that focuses on versatility, customisation, colour and research into materials. Sofas, central and end elements, chaise longues and ottomans all come in a huge variety of shapes and sizes that lend themselves to being arranged in an outdoor space according to personal taste thanks to the exceptional versatility of the modular components and the availability of a vast rage of covers and finishes. The starting point is a futon base with flexible glass fibre slats resting on an aluminium frame to which two types of armrest or backrest can be attached as desired: one with a polypropylene fibre interlacing, the other with a roller cushion. On top are seat cushions intended as comfortable mattresses to stretch out on and several shapes of back and armrest cushion, all containing a new upholstery giving Ribes a particularly lived-in and soft look. Because it is so versatile, Ribes can also be reconfigured over time by adding new elements, as well as by altering the functional use of existing ones. By substituting, adding or varying the position of the back and armrests, a sommier can turn into a vis-à-vis sofa, a sofa can become an island, and a corner seating plan can transform into a comfortable bed. Ribes means transformation and is especially suited to those areas that are neither inside nor outside: verandas, shady patios, under a loggia or on a covered terrace, allowing a fluid approach to the open spaces in the home.
