The Doron Hotel armchair was designed in 1947 by Charlotte Perriand, a real mountain lover, for the winter sports resort of Méribel Les Allues and for Hôtel Doron, one of the first chalet-hotels, in the same location. The French designer always had a special and profound relationship with nature; in fact, she was one of the first to explore the relationship between man and his surrounding environment, seeking natural materials to use in her projects. Thanks to a process of digital printing on the leather, usually reserved for small luxury leather goods, Felipe Pantone's artwork gives the upholstery a nuanced palette of reds, oranges, yellows, whites and blues reminiscent of the hot and cold temperatures of a heat map. The same materials and finishes are used in every item of the collection. First and foremost the original upholstery of the shell, which combines Pelle Frau® leather on the inside with Cuoio Saddle Extra leather on the outside, with contrast stitching around the edges. A version entirely upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather is also available. In this case the stitching has tone-on-tone thread.
For all elements in the Montera series the shell is produced from moulded steam-curved and -pressed beech plywood. Polyurethane foam padding. The legs of the Montera chair, armchair and h66 and h74 stools are in solid ash wood with a wenge or moka stain, with black nylon spacers. The Montera stackable chair has a 4-legged steel base in the evocative blasted and burnished finish which gives new warmth to the metal. The design of the Martha armchair is based on the meeting of the two main elements of the frame, both in moulded rigid polyurethane. The seat and armrests form part of a single sinuous open profile, the two extremities projecting towards the exterior. The curved and slightly padded backrest appears to float in the air but is actually fixed to the frame with a hidden system. The entire product is supported by a triangular-section wooden easel structure. The seat’s slight incline towards the back ensures optimal comfort and emphasises the armchair’s dynamic design. The four-legged base is made from solid ash available with a wenge or moka finish. The Martha rocking chair is also supported by a curved solid ash base in the same finishes.
The colour effects and material combinations underline the fluidity and lightness of Martha. The outside of the frame is upholstered with a rich shell of Saddle Extra Leather while the inside can be covered in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric. The combination of the two materials is emphasised by the elegant visible contrast stitching carried out by hand. A soft seat cushion with removable cover in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric completes the product. The Martha armchair is 100% FSC® certified for all upholstery combinations that involve the use of Pelle Frau® leather and fabric not containing viscose deriving from forests.

The Chester’s spring system consists of steel biconical springs, positioned by hand and attached to jute belts on a supporting structure of seasoned beechwood. The design project for the Echoes family of seating grew out of a mature awareness nourished by different ideas and inspirations. The traditional Scandinavian school meets Mediterranean style; rustic and urban styles cross paths. The design of memory is, in any case, living in the present and projected into the future.
The sleek metal structure contrasts with the pliable seat and backrest made of fine woven paper cord or paper rush cord. This seemingly simple process is actually quite complex and still today performed entirely by hand.
A different stylistic interpretation is expressed by the Echoes S.H. armchair that pairs the metal structure with cowhide: a classic, eye-catching combination but one that, thanks to the ergonomic contours of the seat and backrest, also ensures the utmost in comfort.
The Echoes S.H. family includes armchairs with and without armrests that coordinate nicely with matching footstools, chairs and dining chairs, stools and a slender chaise longue. Exord is a high-back swivel armchair designed for extraordinary comfort at home. Ergonomic in attitude and casual in appearance, it is part of the first project by American designer Jeffrey Bernett for Cassina. Its shape was engineered to lend support to the body, especially in the lumbar region and around the head. The shoulder area is lightly padded to provide additional soft support. Exord is sustainability oriented: with a view to upcycling, its components can be separated at the end of its life cycle. The rubber used in the armchair structure includes a percentage of plant-based polyols and the padding is made from recycled PET fiber recovered from Plastic Bank®. A matching footstool complements the armchair and an optional lumbar cushion is also available to ensure greater lumbar support when seated with the legs raised.
