The seat, backrest and armrest spring system consists of hand-tied steel biconical springs attached to jute belts. The seat is padded with rubberised horsehair while the backrest and armrests are in hand-shaped vegetable horsehair. The seat cushion is in goose down. The backrest design is obtained with manual capitonné processing. The castors and metal parts (plate holder arm, ashtray and number plate) can have a gold or gunmetal grey finish. The “1919” armchair is available in two versions: without plate and with ashtray plate or cup holder (both of which can be mounted on the left or right).

The seat is padded with rubberised horsehair while the backrest and armrests are in hand-shaped vegetable horsehair. The seat cushion is in goose down with a stabilising insert in polyurethane foam. The upholstery is in Pelle Frau® leather with manual capitonné detailing that decorates the front of the backrest. The reverse of the armchair backrest is embellished with a leather trim. A frame with four feet in solid ash with a Moka stain decorates the bottom of the seat. The leg system is available with metal caps with a gold or gunmetal grey finish, or with metal caps at the back and swivel castors at the front. The 2019 armchair is also available in a version with rotating oval plate in solid ash and top in Testa di moro-coloured Saddle Extra leather, where you can put down an electronic device, a book or other small personal belongings.

Archibald, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, is a wide and deep armchair with a steel structure, padded with moulded polyurethane foam and polyester wadding for greater comfort. It is distinguished by the pleasantly textured leather upholstery and the folded armrests that resemble a shirt collar. Thanks to a process of digital printing on the leather, usually reserved for small luxury leather goods, Felipe Pantone's artwork gives the upholstery a nuanced palette of reds, oranges, yellows, whites and blues reminiscent of the hot and cold temperatures of a heat map. The upholstery is in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® Impact Less, the innovative leather tanned with sustainable components and without the use of chrome for a reduced environmental impact.To emphasize the chromatic vibe of the surface, the base, characterised by four die-cast aluminium feet and a steel frame, has a multicolour chrome finish: a special iridescent paint treatment in colours and light, which gives a brilliant purplish-blue shade. A brass plaque, in the same finish as the base, bears the artist's signature and the words “ONE OF 110”. In addition, every Archibald Limited Anniversary Edition comes with a specific cleaning kit and an exclusive clutch, made in the same multicoloured leather as the upholstery and containing the certificate of authenticity of the product signed by the artist.

The base of the Archibald Gran Comfort sits on four steel feet connected by an outer frame with ruthenium finish. The seat structure is made from beech. The backrest structure is steel with perimeter infill consisting of elastic belts, while the shaped upper part is made from deformable rubber. Both structures are finished with scratchproof black paint. The seat spring system consists of elastic belts. The seat and backrest padding is composed of two shaped cushions in polyurethane foam, attached to the metal frame using strips of Velcro. The cushions are covered with a goose down quilt, also fixed in place with Velcro strips.The exterior upholstery of the Archibald Gran Comfort is available in Pelle Frau® Safari leather or in a selection of Poltrona Frau fabrics, and the covers can be removed from both versions. In the leather version the edge is raw cut and hand-painted in a matching colour. Choice between tone-on-tone or contrast stitching. In the fabric version the stitching is tone-on-tone.
The Archibald Gran Comfort pouf replicates the technical characteristics of the armchair.

The Aspen plaid was created using Bouclé Alpaca in the colours Blend Zen and Sitatunga Gold. Alpaca Bouclé is a double-sided fabric in Suri Alpaca and wool, produced using bouclé yarns. Suri Alpaca is the finest and rarest breed, making up just 1% of the population of these animals. It is a glossy and incredibly robust fibre that is combined with wool in this particular fabric, presenting a chevron pattern on one side while sporting mélange tones on the other.
The Aspen plaid measures 140cm x 180cm and its edges play around with the different patterns on the two sides. The Poltrona Frau logo is branded on a leather tag stitched in the bottom right of the plain woven side. On the back of the plaid a label certifies the originality of the Loro Piana Interiors fabric.

I had a disappointing experience with Lineaselect at first. After confirming and paying for a binding offer that included a fixed delivery timeframe, I was informed six days later that the manufacturer was currently unable to deliver the product. I was offered to either cancel the order or wait for a new, undefined lead time.
While communication remained polite, the handling of the situation initially felt unprofessional. Accepting payment and confirming delivery, only to withdraw the offer days later, raised concerns about reliability.
Update:
After this rocky start, Lineaselect made every effort to arrange delivery as quickly as possible. In the end, I have to say it turned out to be a positive overall experience. The team was responsive and tried hard to find a good solution.
