If the sofa style, from where this is taken, was all about finding a moment for yourself, then Mayfair Dream is all about continuing with this design ideology. We have again gotten to play with strong emotions, that of style and substance, one that gives a unique personality to more classic interiors as well as contemporary styles. We have played with the elements of haute couture to again bring quality to the foreground; refined stitching, sartorial excellence and use of padded down mate- rials evoke sensations of comfort at first sight. Again, we introduce features that showcase a precise and passionate approach to furniture construction, the movement of the headrest is from the sofa, providing not only comfort but a modern appreciation of function over theatrics.

Take the basic principle of what a chair is, do you have it? It needs to be comfortable, supported, have a style and character that is also unique and even be inspired by something greater... that is what Nascar is about. One look at the back rest and you'd be forgiven for wanting to instantly take a seat. How about the swooping lines, curved arms, a sense of familiarity whilst seated? Did you even notice the legs, maintaining an intrinsic design style that continues with the total aesthetic features of the chair. Everything is created to have a purpose, with Nascar, this is about taking that basic principle of the chair and injecting something completely new into the living space.

For this collection, designer Giuseppe Viganò drawsinspiration from the world of geometry, from which he
borrows different shapes and harmonizes them in a single
design. The collection plays with minimal shapes
articulated in space: the horizontal top is supported by
two stands with a characteristic H shape, one vertical and
one slanted, united by a transverse element that conveys a
sensation of movement. The legs and central stem are
made of metal, while the top with rounded corners is
available in numerous finishes, from wood to ceramic,
marble and crystal, creating combinations of materials
that are always different and can respond to any furnishing
and style requirement.

An impeccable geometric linearity interrupted only by thecoming together of two elements which combine to form a
sole body, much like the branches of a tree. The word
“Innesti” means “grafts” – another reference to the
inspiration provided by trees and an explicit nod to the
method used for the legs.

The geometric Gauss desk features a curved, fluid top withno sharp edges, much like the legs, which take on the
appearance of metal rings with rounded corners. The
distinguishing feature of Gauss is the raised section, which
creates a second level for the desk. In addition to the main
desk top in wood, Gauss can also offer a practical “floating”
shelf made from ceramic, which is attached to the main
desk via two metal bars. The other unique detail to Gauss is
the shape of the legs, which stand in a dynamic,
asymmetrical position, creating an irregular structure which
lends a youthful, casual quality to the desk. In addition, the
veining in the wood of the desk top adds dynamism,
increasing the aesthetic impact of Gauss.

“This bookcase is a tribute to my Parisian grandfather,”explains the designer, Fabrice Berrux. “There was one
room in his apartment which fascinated me more than
any other. It was the room he occupied every evening
until late at night: his study, or better, his room of
wonders, his ‘cabinet de curiosité’. A place for thinking,
for creating, for recalling memories, packed with books,
paintings, masks, sculptures, and a thousand other
‘essential’ objects". Fifteen years later, these memories
have become a bookcase devised like a modular
architectural feature.Cabinet de Curiosité consists of
different modules, which can be mixed and matched
freely to achieve the desired configuration. Every module
consists of a façade and a variable number of windows
and niches intended to house, organise and highlight
books, ornaments and all sorts of objects.

The table tops are made from discs of ash wood, supportedby a lead-painted metal pipe. All of this rests on a base in
marble or cement, which evokes the solid, stable shape of a
rock. The lasting image is one of asymmetrical contrast
between the imposing base, the sleek body and the disc
that forms the table top, emphasized by the elegant
matching of different materials.

An expressive onomatopea that recalls the sounds ofcicadas: this is the image that inspired the new line of
coffee tables by Bonaldo. The geometric, slender and
rounded design of the structure makes them light-weight,
while a game of balances between sharp corners and
rounded angles supports a practical removable tray, an
element that can be further embellished with a refined
ceramic top. In the version of one material, the effect is of
essential elegance and functionality; in the version with the
ceramic top, the contrast between the two materials adds
further character. Frinfri coffee tables are available in three
different heights and all models are proposed in multiple
colour variants, to make it possible to choose the one that
is most suitable to individual stylistic needs. The Frinfri
Wood variant features a wooden top and is available in two
sizes (high and medium).

Blend is characterized by the attention to details in theprocessing of its composing materials: leather and fabric.
The linearity of the perimeter structure covered in emery
leather balances and adds value to the upholstered part,
creating a rigorous line that widens upwards from the
bottom, merging with a sinuous and welcoming curve that
leads back inwards. The overall effect is that of a solution
characterised by an elegant image and a soft composure. A
strong, distinctive element that can be appreciated from all
angles gives this collection rigour and softness: the emery
leather structure frames the cushioning and allows it to
develop visually even further.

The Aureo collection, consisting of a drawer chest andbedside table designed by Matteo Nunziati, is inspired by
the mathematical/geometric concept of the Golden Ratio: a
system on which the proportion of all spaces dedicated to
the human life is based, with the intent of creating a
balanced, yet functional standard. The Aureo furniture
accessories are simple, single-block pieces, partitioned by
the handle which divides them in sections. The simple,
elegant shapes and details, like the ceramic top and metal
handle, are offset by a contemporary design with traditional
undertones conveyed by its minimalism and purity.

As the idea from which it takes its name suggests, Medley isa modern, elegant and eclectic fixed table, suitable both for
professional and private rooms. The lower parts of the legs
are connected through a central longitudinal element; the
top, available in 3 different sizes, is characterised by gently
rounded corners and is the result of the merger of two
shapes, the rectangle and oval, creating a new and original
outline. Consistent with the formal choice, the juxtaposition
of elements is also evident in the choice of materials: while
the base is always in solid wood, available in three different
species, the top, in deliberate contrast, is made in various
finishes of marble, white lacquered wood, acid-treated
glass or ceramic.

Mass Table was designed by Alain Gilles to celebrateBonaldo’s eightieth birthday. The table has a base with a
formal lightness that is a reminiscent of Victorian crinoline
and three-dimensional wireframes, that is, representations
of three-dimensional computer graphics. The top, in
contrast, occupies the visual space with a strong aesthetic
personality and seems almost to float in the void. In this
way, Mass Table subverts the traditional image of the table
with an imposing base and a thin top. The base is available
in metal, painted in a variety of shades; the top can be in
different types of glass, marble, ceramic or solid wood. The
many finishes available allow a result to be obtained in the
most classic or markedly contemporary taste.

In 2019, Alain Gilles met Bonaldo and anunconventional idea emerged, a bold design for a
product destined to make history: Big Table. In
2019, a special edition to celebrate the 10th
anniversary of an icon was presented. The
distinguishing feature of Big Table is its base, made
up of four laser-cut steel legs that intertwine and
overlap, of which the perception changes,
depending on the observer's perspective. It is a
play on equilibrium, a magical contrast between
the linearity of the top and the dynamism
suggested by the inclined legs. Ten years after its
launch, Big Table is offered in a special edition to
celebrate this vital milestone in the history of a
product, which has become a true icon of design.
In this new version, the table has a rectangular
Saint Denis marble top with a strong graphic
pattern and colours with extraordinary intensity.
The top is combined with the steel base painted in
the same colour, thereby creating a single whole
that never ceases to astound and inspire.

Specifications:
A living room system designed to define the domestic landscape in a fluid, flexible manner. This is Esosoft ‒ the first project by Antonio Citterio for Cassina ‒ a modular sofa that embodies the timeless elegance and style the Italian designer is known for and, at the same time, is an aspirational tribute to the art of the great masters and to the practice of visualizing furniture by detaching the structural part from its padded interior. In fact, Esosoft consists of an aluminium exoskeleton and a shell with an organic silhouette upon which soft cushions are placed. Past and future coexist in this shape ‒ reminiscent of the concept of casual comfort typical of the 1960s ‒ that benefits from cutting-edge production techniques, mindfully chosen to make the system circular and sustainable. Thanks to the work of Cassina LAB, materials like a polyurethane foam that contains a percentage of polyols deriving from biological sources and blown recycled PET fibre in the backrest cushions. The Esosoft collection comprises eight modules that can be used as individual sofas or combined to form corner arrangements, lending the utmost flexibility to the configuration of living spaces. Special attention was focused on size, taking into account urban settings where space is often at a premium. The cushions ‒ available in a wide variety of sizes and shapes ‒ can be added individually or in sets. The Esosoft family is complemented by benches in different sizes, ottomans and a series of coffee tables with top in wavy glass, in several colours, or in marble.

Specifications:
Defined by Philippe Starck as "a lifestyle collection of relaxed elegance", Fenc-e Nature sees the designer continue on his joint mission with Cassina to revolutionise our concept of the classic sofa, using high-quality cutting-edge materials that respect the environment. The two- or three-seater sofa has organic forms - like the die-cast aluminium base - and textural elements that celebrate its affinity with the environment, like the natural-looking solid teak armrest with sanded finish. Each backrest, with frame in painted AISI 304 stainless steel, is available in hand-woven rope with an exclusive design or in natural untreated willow, used here for the first time. The outstanding comfort of the sofa is guaranteed by the generous seat and backrest cushions with padding in SoloSoff(C), a blown polyester fibre and memory foam-based product, and the reclining backrest that can be set in two different positions thanks to a manual mechanism inspired by Asian architecture: a supporting rod in solid teak, processed to look like a branch, held in place by two wooden nails. The collection is completed by an armchair and a side table in two different heights.

Collection: Mario Bellini
Brand: Cassina
Specifications:
"This was a new kind of chair, constructed totally out of leather, much cloned since then.” Thus Mario Bellini describes Cab, a best-seller that he designed in the 1970s, which is now a signature piece in Cassina’s I Contemporanei collection. Cab was the first-ever chair to feature a free-standing leather structure, inspired by how our skin fits over our skeleton. The upholstery consists of sixteen pieces of saddle leather. Individually die-cut, they then undergo fourteen discrete procedures, again by hand. The pieces are sewn together only when their outer edges have been trimmed to ensure a perfect fit. Once assembled, the cover is attached to the chair’s steel skeleton and held in place by means of a zipper fastening, as in a bespoke tailored garment. The wide array of colours for the saddle leather cushion is now complemented by pigmented saddle leather in black, brown and Russian red.
