Specifications:
Comfortable, contemporary lines set apart this sofa designed by Le Corbusier for his Paris apartment, where the original model is still preserved, and that inspired the lengthy re-edition process carried out by Cassina. In 1974, Charlotte Perriand collaborated in the first reworking of the original, in one size only, with chrome finish. Over the years, the finishes have been expanded and the sizes modified. The comfortable, elegant structure is dominated by the feather-filled cushions that form the backrest and seat, supported by an instantly recognizable metal base available in the seven collection colours. The current two- or three-seat edition comes with leather or fabric upholstery. This model is part of the Le Corbusier®, Pierre Jeanneret®, Charlotte Perriand® Collection.

Specifications:
An international best-seller with warm, inviting shapes, where the back extends upwards to form a head-rest. The smooth, padded style, meantime, amplifies the sofa’s comfort quotient, affording myriad interpretations. Much imitated, Maralunga introduced the idea of an adjustable-height headrest, achieved by means of a bicycle chain embedded in the foam cushions. This avant-garde mechanism, patented by Cassina, makes the back cushion unfold and move upwards, to form a head-rest. In 2014, to celebrate Maralunga’s fortieth anniversary, Cassina undertook a further restyling, making the fabric upholstery removable for cleaning, while adding details such as the edge-stitching that confers a more contemporary look to a design classic. The Maralunga family includes an armchair, a footrest and two- or three-seater sofas in several widths.

Specifications:
The Doron Hotel armchair was designed in 1947 by Charlotte Perriand, a real mountain lover, for the winter sports resort of Méribel Les Allues and for Hôtel Doron, one of the first chalet-hotels, in the same location. The French designer always had a special and profound relationship with nature; in fact, she was one of the first to explore the relationship between man and his surrounding environment, seeking natural materials to use in her projects. Comfortable, textural and pleasant to the touch, the Doron Hotel armchair, already available for interiors, now comes in a solid teak outdoor version with soft and simple lines. The seat is padded with polyurethane foam covered with waterproof cloth. It can be paired with Charlotte Perriand's Table à Plateau Interchangeable.

Defying the laws of physics, going beyond what we normally understand by the conditions of equilibrium, this bookcase is nothing short of a manifesto for Cassina’s design and construction capabilities. After a lengthy period of research and development, ably assisted by state-of-the-art technology, the company’s designers created a production prototype of the original 1940 piece that architect Franco Albini made as a one-off for his Milan home. Respecting the authentic underlying concept of the design, with its compelling experimental feel, as well as its surprisingly spare, linear looks, today’s model preserves the minimal ideal of the original: a feeling of air and light so that the books and objets seem to float free. Thus does Cassina restore to the contemporary world of design one of its most emblematic artefacts, a piece that has acquired the status of a work of art, as magical now as it was when it was first seen.

Specifications:
The Boboli table is characterised by its geometrically ordered lines, where the structural challenge facing Cassina was to ensure the stability of the slim-line twisted uprights that form the base. These uprights, both load- bearing and decorative, pay homage to the canons of the classical Italian garden, where plants were often trained vertically. The sinuous form of these aluminium legs confer a sculptural look to the design, where rigour and imagination come together to challenge the limits and the very nature of the material from which they are made. After several updates and revisitations, Cassina presented the latest iteration of the Boboli table in 2016, further improving its stability and resistance by fixing the table-top to the base. Exquisitely constructed, the Boboli collection of tables has been further enhanced with new painted aluminium finishes in matte black, dark gold chrome, gunmetal grey, mud.

Specifications:
The core concept for the Table tube d’avion table, introduced in 1929 at the Salon d’Automne [Autumn Salon], lies in the distinction between the support piece and the piece being supported; in other words, between the base and the top. The separation of the two parts is highlighted by the four intermediate supports that serve both as level adjusters and as spacers between the mass of the support and the slender lines of the top. Specifically, the base was designed in 1928, taking its cue from the oval profiles used in the aeronautical sector to separate the wings of biplanes. The current model has a steel base painted in the Le Corbusier palette of colours, while the top comes in glass, textured glass, wood or in luxurious white Carrara or black Marquina marble.
