The Sahara rug is born from a contemporary reinterpretation of the Berber rugs of the Nomad dessert tribes on which primitive, rapid and instinctive marks have been drawn. The intent is not decorative, but the production acquires a symbolic harmony that unites space creating a complete connection. TANTRA The Tantra rug stems from the hand loom technique, in which production is carried out on a loom using entirely manual processes. Its geometric pattern, obtained by repeating a simple pattern memorized by the weaver, recalls the rigorous and accurate decorations that can be seen in many Indian temples where colour is used in a formal manner. This coat-rack was originally created by Le Corbusier for the Cabanon, a summer-house on the Cote d’Azur that he designed in 1951 as a birthday present for Yvonne, his wife. This re-issue by Cassina is based on the 1957 version, which had been made for the Unités de Camping, which was next to the Cabanon. In line with the bright colours used for these minimal spaces, keyed on the compact comfort offered by a cruise-ship cabin, the coat-rack too was multi- hued. The base is made of oak, while the hooks are mushroom-shaped, and are placed at varying heights, based on the criteria established in the Modulor.

The mirrors making up the Deadline collection by Ron Gilad are ingeniously designed hybrid objects, combining premier engineering and carpentry skills of the highest order. 16 unique pieces, each set in its own black or white ashwood frame, each of which boasts a different texture and shape. Every piece is composed of two sheets of glass, 12mm apart. The front face is silvered, the back being coloured orange, blue, or red. A living room system designed to define the domestic landscape in a fluid, flexible manner. This is Esosoft ‒ the first project by Antonio Citterio for Cassina ‒ a modular sofa that embodies the timeless elegance and style the Italian designer is known for and, at the same time, is an aspirational tribute to the art of the great masters and to the practice of visualizing furniture by detaching the structural part from its padded interior. In fact, Esosoft consists of an aluminium exoskeleton and a shell with an organic silhouette upon which soft cushions are placed. Past and future coexist in this shape ‒ reminiscent of the concept of casual comfort typical of the 1960s ‒ that benefits from cutting-edge production techniques, mindfully chosen to make the system circular and sustainable. Thanks to the work of Cassina LAB, materials like a polyurethane foam that contains a percentage of polyols deriving from biological sources and blown recycled PET fibre in the backrest cushions. The Esosoft collection comprises eight modules that can be used as individual sofas or combined to form corner arrangements, lending the utmost flexibility to the configuration of living spaces. Special attention was focused on size, taking into account urban settings where space is often at a premium. The cushions ‒ available in a wide variety of sizes and shapes ‒ can be added individually or in sets. The Esosoft family is complemented by benches in different sizes, ottomans and a series of coffee tables with top in wavy glass, in several colours, or in marble.

The Tramonto a New York sofa, reproduced in an exclusive limited series of 50 pieces, maintains all of its expressive power and the relevancy of the original 1980 design. A tribute to the designer’s adopted city and, at the same time, an admonition (later reconsidered by Pesce) about its impending decline. And much more. Tramonto a New York is a piece of furniture that aims to redeem the mere functionalism of the design expressing – clearly inspired by Pop Art – an obvious reflection on the contemporary vibe and identity of a metropolis synonymous with dynamism, revolution and energy. Therefore, a personal confession, embodied in a form that goes beyond the customary approach to seating and becomes architecture. Padding filled, individually crafted skyscrapers upholstered in an exclusive fabric whose raised rectangular texture places light and shadow side by side, creating the effect of light that reflects off the windows. In contrast, the setting sun, wrapped in vivid red satin, drops between the buildings that form the backrest. The elements have a plywood frame and elastic webbing and a structure in variable density natural rubber covered in recycled PET polyester batting, encased in fabric. Up-sized to a larger version than the historic original, Tramonto a New York is available in one size only, a three-seat sofa. To guarantee the authenticity of this special edition, each sofa bears a satin finish steel plate with the Cassina logo, the name of the design, the serial number and the name and signature of the artist, Gaetano Pesce. Like all new Cassina products, Tramonto a New York uses circular materials developed through the work of Cassina LAB.

Sengu Bold is a new edition of the Sengu Sofa system, a sofa envisioned to celebrate conviviality, thanks to its open, naturally inviting shapes. The new version drops the original Japanese-inspired wood base, taking its soft curves all the way to the floor. A bold gesture meant to emphasize its commitment to hospitality and to the comfort of its namesake through generous proportions and even more exemplary padding. The dedicated upholstery fabrics have also been updated in ‘bold’: the textures have been magnified, as if to further accentuate the soft lines of the padding. Sengu Bold is a floor sofa known for its different, unconventional arrangements, as well as its shared features, like natural materials and colours, achieved by combining different sized modules. Pair centre, corner and end elements, with or without armrests – including the option to add a chaise longue and ottoman – for the utmost in relaxation. To ensure maximum comfort, the seat frame is in plywood and elastic webbing; the seat cushion is composed of two parts that can be disassembled. The internal part is in polyurethane foam with a plant-based variable-density percentage, and the exterior in blown recycled PET fibre encased in recycled PET fabric. To guarantee wellbeing and sustainability, the padding for the loose backrest cushions is made from blown recycled PET fibre, developed thanks to a study conducted by Cassina LAB, a partnership between the Cassina Research and Development Centre and the Poli.design consortium of the Polytechnic University in Milan. As with the Sengu Sofa, the leather or fabric upholstery from the Cassina Collection is removable. To create customisable and complete arrangements for the living room, the Sengu collection also includes a series of Sengu low tables – featuring the same wood base that distinguishes the parent Sengu Sofa – to which a round version with glass or marble top has been added.

An international best-seller with warm, inviting shapes, where the back extends upwards to form a head-rest. Much imitated, Maralunga introduced the idea of an adjustable-height headrest, achieved by means of a bicycle chain embedded in the foam cushions. Comfortable, contemporary lines set apart this sofa designed by Le Corbusier for his Paris apartment, where the original model is still preserved, and that inspired the lengthy re-edition process carried out by Cassina. In 1974, Charlotte Perriand collaborated in the first reworking of the original, in one size only, with chrome finish. Over the years, the finishes have been expanded and the sizes modified. The comfortable, elegant structure is dominated by the feather-filled cushions that form the backrest and seat, supported by an instantly recognizable metal base available in the seven collection colours. Gerrit Rietveld came up with the design for the Utrecht armchair in 1935 while working for the Metz & Co. department store in Amsterdam, where his brief was to make a chair for serial production. Taking market needs into account, while privileging a comfortable and relaxing experience, led to the elements of the chair being treated as separate units. As a consequence, the chair became an icon of both the Neoplastic movement (aka De Stijl), and of Rietveld’s experimental vision. In 2015, the original version of the chair, without the feet, was made available alongside the one with, as part of the Mutazioni collection, and was relaunched with its dimensions adjusted to take account of changes in people’s height over the previous 80 years. The chair is also available in the Gerrit fabric, with blanket stich or zig-zag top-stitching, in both cases in five colours.

I have exclusively worked with Lineaselect for my house renovation project. I have bought ceramic tiles and other bathroom fittings from them at a very good price. As with any house renovation project, the choice of good material makes all the difference. I started communicating with Jaunius with a simple price offer which evolved into more like continuous communication on range of different products.

I was a bit unsure about damages during the shipping, however, my order arrived without a single damaged item. I ordered tiles from this company, and I must say, their delivery service wasexceptional. The tiles were delivered promptly and in perfect condition. The packaging was secure, ensuring that the tiles remained intact during transit.
