Inspired by the way pattern and texture interweave in a fabric, the Ami Ami chair (its name in Japanese literally means "to weave"), was born of designer's wish to reproduce one of the stylistic icons typical of his country - weaving. The simple squared off lines contrast with the richness of the weaving and this is achieved on the inner and outer surfaces through a complex industrial process which recreates the motif using a single mould.

The Chancellor President, Executive and Managerial versions are height-adjustable, swivel and the backrest and seat come with a sophisticated “Syncron” oscillation mechanism that allows the user to assume a continuous series of 5 positions ranging from a straight seat back to genuine chaise-longue.The Chancellor Visitor chair is equipped with a sophisticated swivel mechanism whose thrust bearing allows the chair to rotate and return to its original position. The frame of the Viola chair is made from solid ash in a Moka or Wenge stain embellished with a weave made from dark brown or natural saddle-leather laces. The seat spring system consists of elastic belts. There are soft cushions on the seat and backrest. The seat cushion is filled with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding while the backrest is padded with down and has an insert in polyurethane foam. The two cushions form a single whole which is fixed to the frame using two snap buttons. The removable upholstery of the Viola chair is in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric.

Caratos is a series of upholstered seats united by a recognisable frame in die-cast aluminium. One version characterised by an enveloping upholstered back that also forms the armrest, Caratos is a chair that is free from postural constraints, favouring conversation and interaction with those nearby. Another version, available only in leather, stands out for its basic, geometric frame with highly calibrated thicknesses and details. This is a decidedly light product, not just in terms of its essential, linear design, but also due to its reduced weight ensuring easy handling. The seat and backrest are formed by plastic structural panels on which rests a layer of polyurethane which is then covered in premium leather. They are also part of the collection hte stools with a swivel seat, capable of adapting to heterogeneous furnishing settings through contemporary lines reminiscent, however, of certain twentieth century furniture styles.
