The detail makes the design. In the planning and construction of the Big Night bed, the angular clasp is the focal point. The fold of the headboard is a spontaneous, natural gesture: it expresses the ancestral discovery that surfaces could be modeled, the concrete action from which a concept comes into being. It’s the very gesture of fingers pinching together that suggests how to keep the shape of the fold stable, through the use of a fibula, a U-shaped metallic clasp realized with exquisite metalwork – a minimalist accessory with a clean and rigorous shape. The clip pinches the edges of the continuous surface of the covered panel, generating an overhang in the fold and enhancing the well-tailored qualities of the fabric. This exactingly crafted embellishment is duplicated in the corners of the bed frame, becoming fibula and foot alike. The headboard is a meticulous rectangular-shaped panel, folded on the sides, at once a protective niche and a refined aesthetic element. The vast, generous lenticular surfaces are taut yet accommodating, enhancing the experience of intimate comfort that makes the night an endless adventure. More than a bed to sleep on, Big Night is a stage where personal stories can unfold.

To describe Final Cut as just a table does a disservice to the vision and applied engineering that went into the construction of what is one of the most beautiful and geometric designs that we have made at Arketipo. In what is a compact style, we have insisted on bringing versatility that is uniquely our own. A multi-level surface, the upper is a thin smoked glass layer that is connected with a rotating cylinder and pierces through a lower, thick marble top. A complex and sophisticated geometric design reflecting true dynamic living, making this vision more about today's modern take of living.

If design was a fixed concept, then Nelson may never have been made for it would have been the conformist who'd have said, "tables should never have spaces in the top!" That which renders Nelson unique is that which renders all design unique: freedom to try new things. In this case, all elements of the structure are joined together with an intrinsic yet swooping metal structure whilst the tops, made of wood and leather combine to give dramatic and irregular geometric forms. Again, Arketipo doesn't offer the ordinary but wants to play within the lines of what is possible and understands what the traditions offer; vegetable tanned leather, a traditional Tuscan material, is used in the Nelson design, providing different colours and shades.

Whilst sounding like something that was the iconic arcade game of the 70s, Moon Invaders is more a statement of design than any creative game play. It is best to think about Moon Invaders as a welcoming embrace of the nuanced isometric American art movement of the 80s and 90s. Playing with the square and rectangular form as their principle shape and style, it makes no excuses for the flamboyant use of materials. Marble is the striking center piece whilst the Tuscan styling and use of vegetable tanned leather makes up the arrangement for the corners and lifts on the outside. Finished with thin metallic legs, Moon Invaders is more than a play on words, but one of our environment and how we can create new emotions.

For Gino Carollo, compromise was never going to be an option. The outdoors should always have as much style and comfort as anything we produce for living indoors. Inspired by a bond with nature, Santos uses strong geometric lines to interweave and overlap to create a dynamic form. Using solid materials, treated to be protected all year round, function is a priority but never overshadows the strong design which bridges the desire between indoor and outdoor living. Just one look at this design and you’d be mistaken for a piece of furniture that would be welcome in any interior living space. That’s the point though, right? Why should the outdoors feel less enjoyable when in reality, it’s anything but the case.

I came across to LineaSelect by mistake and one day I sent them an email to see if they can help me with Devon&Devon bathroom items.
The staff was friendly and our communication easy, with both Aiste and Jaunius, very professional.
