Gallotti & Radice was founded in 1955, Italy. The brand was created out of the passion for crystals used in furniture. Today Gallotti & Radice continues the never-ending process of refining the crystal design. The symbolic material withholds such opposites as strength and fragility, together with lightness, transparency, and eternity. Such a delicate and yet powerful matter is treated with care and respect, discipline, tenancy, and love in Gallotti & Radice.
The use of crystal
The term „crystal“ describes a very high-quality type of glass. Crystal is obtained when molten glass is poured from the furnace onto molten tin or a bath. The thin layer of glass then floats on the surface of a flat liquid and slowly becomes a ribbon with several faces. During the years in business Gallotti & Radice has developed a few ways of processing crystal into the designed products. The company has two different production lines: one is dedicated to artisan traditions and the other is highly industrialized. The innovative technologies let the company use such techniques as industrial grinding, water jet cuts, sheet tempering, washing, and mirroring.
Italian quality
The full cycle of the production process of Gallotti & Radice is implemented only in Italy. Quality in every detail, refined shape of each product and the excellence is a result of solid experience end the highest standards of the brand to create a product that will be ageless.
Location matters
Gallotti & Radice respects and cherishes the location where it was established. The company chooses neighboring suppliers with “0km” shipment policy – most of them are also located in the Brianza district.
Environmentally conscious
The company chooses natural materials that are 100% recyclable: crystal, aluminum, and steel. The best feature of crystal as a material is its eternal recycling ability – crystal can be recycled indefinite times. The process of waste utilization in Gallotti & Radice includes crystal, aluminum, steel, brass, paper, and cardboard collection, differentiation, recovery, and disposal.
The company has started its journey with clean energy in 2010 when a system of photovoltaic panels was installed in the production plant, producing 86500 kWh of electric power per year.
