An outdoor collection of sofas with a contemporary classic accent, Gio stands out for its solid teakwood frames in a special antique grey finish, which grants the wood a particular lived-in look with silver grey reflections. The various types of sofas, terminal elements and chaise longues can be combined to form in-line, corner and peninsula seating. They all have a basic frame made of wooden slats, on which a backrest and armrests – characterised by an interlacing of dove grey coloured polypropylene ribbons – can easily be inserted. This particular type of frame allows for easily disassembling of the various components, so as to reduce the space needed to store the products in winter. The seats’ seat and back cushions, in exclusive colour combinations, make Gio particularly enveloping and comfortable. Canasta ‘13 is a family of seats that preserves the iconic design of the Canasta series while donning a new look to blend even more with the external environment. The sofas and armchairs making up the series are characterised by a light interlacing of mélange polyethylene yarn which lets the light shine through. Hybrid is a system of modular seating elements that it is so versatile it can be arranged into an almost infinite number of combinations. The key role of the textile dimension stands out immediately, with upholsteries that completely cover the generous padding, the project’s absolute protagonist. These are typical elements of indoor furnishings, which in Hybrid find an outdoor interpretation. Hence the name of the collection, proposed as a link between the inside and the outside of the house.
