The outdoor version of the Alison armchair now extends its compelling design also to a two-seater and a three-seater. The curved structure of the Alison Outdoor sofa is in extruded aluminum with epoxy powder-coated finish in white, khaki green, wine red; or burnished or satin-finish aluminum. The backrest is in polyurethane rubber, in a color palette that ranges from earth tones to bordeaux and olive green, while the seat and backrest cushions can be upholstered in any of the fabrics from the outdoor textile collection. Thanks to their light weight, the Alison Outdoor sofas can easily be moved.

Paying homage to the work of Vico Magistretti, this innovative system of upholstered seating is underpinned by a supporting beam on which modules join together to create stylish, relaxing and functional compositions. Duc is an original project from 1976 founded on the combination of cutting- edge materials and structural technology. While respecting the innovative and sophisticated character of the original design, Cassina renews and updates this sofa, both in terms of comfort and the size of the seat, while maintaining its characteristic panel structure assembled by means of a zip that runs along the sides for its entire height. Thanks to the study carried out by Cassina LAB, a collaboration between the Cassina Research and Development Centre and Poli.design at the Milan Polytechnic, the cushion padding in polyurethane foam is wrapped with a 100% recycled fibre, obtained from PET mainly recovered from the sea, guaranteeing comfort and respect for the environment. This new version does not include side cushions like the original model however it is possible to add optional armrest cushions. Duc-Duc is available in a two or three-seater sofa and armchair.

Sophisticated style and conviviality by design – the Dine Out family of outdoor furnishings adds a settee crafted to deliver absolute alfresco dining comfort. The structure is solid teak, embellished with hand-woven grey melange colour polypropylene cord around the armrests and the upper part of the backrest. The seat cushion, in batting with a polyurethane foam insert, is upholstered in water-repellent fabric and attached to the solid teak slats with two straps. Patricia Urquiola interprets the happiness of life outdoors with a collection full of playful designs with rounded and sinuous shapes. The collection stands out for its environmentally sensitive approach using innovative, sustainable, completely Made in Italy materials thanks to the research of Cassina LAB, the collaboration between Cassina's Research and Development Centre and Poli.design of the Politecnico di Milano. The two-seater sofa and three combinable modules – a small and large terminal and a central element for creating cosy compositions – have a lacquered AISI 304 stainless steel frame supporting panels made of RFM®, a 100% recyclable, hand-finished, recycled, glass-reinforced plastic. The backrest features the artisan weaving of polypropylene and nylon rope, while the two backrest cushions and the seat cushion are padded with 100% recycled fibre wadding obtained from PET. Fringes of the cushions in the same shades as the rope are optional.

This comfortable sofa eliminates the lumbar cushion and leaves the backrest and armrests alone to provide support and comfort, creating a modularity with reduced depth. The sensation of softness is also emphasized by the fluid appearance of the upholstery, available in a completely removable fabric cover combined with the leather of the structure, or entirely in Pelle Frau® leather, removable for the seat.

Bringing the indoors to the outside is always filled with compromise. For many design takes a second place to comfort, for others it is vice versa. For Gino Carollo, compromise was never going to be an option. The outdoors should always have as much style and comfort as anything we produce for living indoors. Inspired by a bond with nature, Santos uses strong geometric lines to interweave and overlap to create a dynamic form. Using solid materials, treated to be protected all year round, function is a priority but never overshadows the strong design which bridges the desire between indoor and outdoor living. Just one look at this design and you’d be mistaken for a piece of furniture that would be welcome in any interior living space. That’s the point though, right? Why should the outdoors feel less enjoyable when in reality, it’s anything but the case.

A timeless style that has written its own chapter in design history, becoming an icon of global fame. Designed for ease of conversation, the armchair was exhibited at the Salon d’Automne [Autumn Salon] in Paris in 1929 as the archetype of the modern concept of furnishings, interpreted by its authors as “household equipment”. The separation between the metal structure and the cushions is consistent with the principles of Rationalism, just as the separation between the parts is based on an industrial approach to production, reminiscent of the architectural relationship between the loadbearing structure and the in-fill elements. These models are also available in an eco-friendly version that stays true to the original design. Thanks to the study conducted by Cassina LAB, a partnership between the Cassina Research and Development Center and the Poli.design consortium of the Politecnico University in Milan, the foam-fill parts, the padding in the cushions and the tubular structure are produced with sustainable materials and processes.

Different elements designed to connect with the seats and create even more liveable relaxing areas where you can read, eat, relax, study, work or share a coffee or pre-dinner drink. The terminal module, with a large double surface, is the perfect place for your favourite books or a lamp. The unit that joins the seats comes equipped with a hidden storage compartment where the items you wish to keep close at hand can be tidily stored out of sight. The storage unit behind the backrest, with central push-pull drawer, has a very spacious compartment that can also be used to hide the wires of a lamp positioned on the shelf.
The upholstery and detailing of the Come Together accessories match and complement the seat modules. The visual depth and tactile softness of the tops and shelves in etched and brushed stainless steel with pewter finish recall the leather and fabric.

The In the Mood seating system is available in numerous two or three-seater combinations. These can be enhanced with a curved 45° element that breaks up the classic rigidity of the angular configurations, and with three different types of armrest.The frame of the In the Mood sofa is in tubular metal with interwoven elastic belts. The padding is in variable density CFC-free polyurethane foam and pressed felt. The backrests and armrests are made from birch plywood and hardboard panels with padding in polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The seat cushions are padded with goose down and polyester wadding with stabilising polyurethane foam insert. The backrest cushions are padded in firmus with separate horizontal chambers to distinguish the various areas of comfort. The feet are in ruthenium-coloured burnished aluminium with protective caps.
The upholstery is available entirely in Pelle Frau® leather or in fabric.
The In the Mood sofa is refined with piping that outlines its edges. In the leather version the piping is always in leather, while in the fabric version the piping can be in leather or matching fabric. It is always possible to remove the covers from the cushions while the covers of the backrest, armrest and frame can only be removed in the fabric versions.
In the Mood can be configured with different types of armrests:
Medium, low, and low outfitted armrest with a flap that accesses a storage compartment covered with black Alcantara and completed with a sliding multipurpose tray made from ash in a wenge stain.
