The basic form of the Gople Lamp enhances the beauty of glass, hand-processed according to an ancient Venetian technique that gradually turns white glass into crystal glass by combining both upon blowing, thus making each piece unique. Coordinates is a lighting system with diffuse light composed of horizontal and vertical luminaries arranged in a bright grid of various shapes and complexities. Each element is made of extruded anodized aluminium with a champagne finish and a diffuser in platinum optical silicone with an integrated LED strip (CRI 95). Each element is powered and supported by an invisible electrical and mechanical connection designed specifically to allow for the composition of the 3 ceiling models (C1 C2 C4), which may be combined with the respective Long versions for the highest ceilings (C1 Long, C2 Long, C4 Long). The C Module is also available. Its geometry was designed to be repeated to create large grids for custom installations. Each Coordinates configuration includes its own ceiling rose, whose integrated electronics allow for the use of different dimmer systems: push, 1-10, DALI. In the absence of these systems, the amount of light can be set during installation with the push system included in the rose. The related Cl III version is also available for each configuration for installations with a remote power supply.

The lens is the primary optical system that collects and redirects the flux without intercepting the geometry of the cell in which it is inserted, thus avoiding a deterioration in performance in terms of quantity and quality of light emission.

Alphabet of light is a language based on light intended to convey freedom, an elementary principle generating an open system. BIG starts from an abacus of essential geometries to design a new font that translates into light, an alphabet used to write and to express one’s thoughts, a tool to give shape to spaces. It allows to design light in space with words, as well as with graphic signs. Two linear elements of different lengths and two round ones are combined with a system of letters, numbers, and symbols. The round elements, available in two diameters, can be separated into modules to join the linear elements together according to different angles, thus designing everchanging geometries. I have exclusively worked with Lineaselect for my house renovation project. I have bought ceramic tiles and other bathroom fittings from them at a very good price. As with any house renovation project, the choice of good material makes all the difference.
