Collection: Alphabet Of Light
Brand: Artemide
Specifications:
Alphabet of light system is a lighting language that continues to grow with new curved elements so it can be developed with increasing freedom throughout space. It is a basic principle that generates an open system implementing just a handful of basic modules. Thanks to specific geometric proportions, these modules can be combined together to form endless lighting structures, from the most elemental to the most complex, both linear and curved. The BIG idea is combined with Artemide's optoelectronic expertise to give rise to an innovative construction principle that casts continuous and comfortable light. It is a minimal presence that conceals ultra-sophisticated optoelectronic and patented mechanical innovation as well as ground-breaking control. The system can be controlled using the Artemide App to create freedom both in geometric design and in the definition of dynamic performance levels, which can be programmed or modified in real time.

Collection: Boalum
Brand: Artemide
Specifications:
Born in 1970 by Livio Castiglioni and Gianfranco Frattini, and defined by Domus as "a snake of endless light", it immediately became part of the history of Italian and world design. Its structure in translucent flexible PVC, reinforced and with resin terminals, makes it virtually indestructible. The various elements can be connected in series up to a maximum of four pieces can be rolled up as desired. It emits a diffused light and its timeless design makes it an evergreen suitable for all environments. Thanks to its flexibility, that makes it unique in the form, it can be placed on the ground or on a table, hung or twisted to invent new games of light every day. Produced from 1970 to 1983 and slightly modified in 1999, today it has been rebuilt replacing the classic light bulbs with high efficiency LEDs. Boalum is part of numerous collections of design museums, starting with the Museum of Modern Art in Philadelphia or the Museum of Italian Design in Milan.
Collection: Bonta
Brand: Artemide
Specifications:
A portable lamp explores the connection between light, food and conviviality.
It’s a portable lamp that interacts with objects on the table.
A body made from white textured milk glass, diffuses the light, creating a relaxed atmosphere, while the upper recess is home to a glass bowl designed to hold food for sharing.
This can be combined or alternated with a taller bowl and wider one – almost a plate – at the top.
The bowls – and the lamp itself – are made from hand-worked glass, making them unique pieces whose texture, transparency and colour generate a special dialogue between light and food, blurring the boundaries between them.
Maximum attention to detail has been shown in order to do justice to the object itself and the other elements with which it interacts.
Light plays a key role in creating the perfect atmosphere, interacting with other elements on the table and promoting sharing and conviviality.
Collection: Discovery
Brand: Artemide
Specifications:
Discovery is an unobtrusive, utterly absent and immaterial element. Its volume is only perceived when switched on, thanks to the light that outlines the central emitting surface. The result is a uniform light, ideal for working environments. The company’s great optoelectronic skills, combined with a thorough culture of design and with technological know-how, produces a perfectly all-purpose and surprising solution, which translates innovation into emotional perception.

Collection: Febe
Brand: Artemide
Specifications:
In Febe, everything is reduced to a minimum and built around the optical engine that, with maximum yield in minimum thickness, ensures excellent performance to illuminate an entire room.Febe has an elementary shape, yet a rich performance, it focuses on light emission and its formal simplicity makes it almost invisible in space.A uniform light disk protrudes from the surface of the ceiling/wall, the colour frame moves back inwardly and can only be seen from the side.Designed for home environments, its essential shape makes it fit for all spaces.

Collection: Huara
Brand: Artemide
Specifications:
At first, light available to humans came only from stars: the sun and its reflection on the moon. For millennial mankind accepted its incapacity to see in the dark and adapted consequently to the natural rhythm of the celestial spheres, of dawn and dusk. But such agreement changed about 2 million years ago. The appearance of the controlled use of fire marked the beginning of the search for how to transform night into day at will. But getting light from burning stuff was very inefficient (it heated more than illuminated) and uncomfortable (pollution due to smoke). Then about some 70 thousand years ago, light began to come from burning fuel: animal fat first, oil or wax then, or gas and kerosene more recently not only allowed a more efficient use of energy but also introduced the need for a more specific design of the light’s source. The appearance of electrical power at the turn of the last century started a technological development that irrespective of the scientific principle employed to produce light (incandescent, fluorescent or metal halides), made any other source of energy almost disappear. The next step in the production of light came with the development of Light Emitting Diodes (LED). For the first time, light shifted from the electrical realm to the field of electronics. But for some reason such revolutionary step has not permeated society; people look for lights and lamps in the white goods section, not in the electronics section. Our project for Artemide is about integrating the first and the last moment in the history of light: celestial spheres with electronics. On the one hand we want light to vary its intensity and direction according to phases more than moving pieces of a mechanism. On the other hand, we want to aknowledge the fact that the future of light is electronic, not electric. The distinctive potential of electronics is its capacity to carry information that allow for multiple ways of interaction, such as a tactile screen. So, our project is a low voltage, moveable, dark sphere intuitively activated by touch. Hence the name Huara, the aymarà word for star. Aymarà is the native population of the Acatama desert, the driest and darkest one in the world. In other words, the place from where one can see more stars in the planet; no wonder that by 2020, 70 % of the cutting edge astronomical observation capacity of the planet will be in the land of Aymarà. Huara is to honor the original light source of mankind and the state of the art technology.

Specifications:
Floor and wall lamp. A steel panel screens and releases a soft indirect light upwards together with a diffused light along the vertical aperture of the lamp. Painted steel body lamp, with cover-base in painted inox-steel. With light intensity regulator.
Collection: Calipso
Brand: Artemide
Specifications:
The unique honeycomb grill of Calipso was generated by feeding a photo of the moon into an image-based algorithm found on a seemingly extinct computer. The resulting fractal shape, an impure geometry that displays the irregular beauty of nature, is built from an organic honeycomb of different diameter tubes, seemingly arranged in a random geometry. This honeycomb characterizes the lamp both aesthetically and optically - not only is it visually pleasing, but it also provides an even and comfortable light emission. The result is a highly emotional lighting object that joins together optical and aesthetic intelligence. A product positioned perfectly half-way between home and professional use, Calipso is suited to a variety of applications - expressing Artemide's traditional approach to deliver high performance lighting with a unique and emotional expressiveness.

unfortunately, you have to be very careful with this e-shop. they don't respect the customer's purchase withdrawal right in accordance with the applicable EU regulations. Follow-up: following the refusal of my return, I have filed appropriate claims with the Lithuanian Consumer Rights Protection Authority as well as ECC-Net (the EU authority)

I came across to LineaSelect by mistake and one day I sent them an email to see if they can help me with Devon&Devon bathroom items.
The staff was friendly and our communication easy, with both Aiste and Jaunius, very professional.
Today I received the items and I must say I am impressed. They are exactly as described on the website.
I will return for more items in future for sure and I do recommend this website if you wish to get high quality items for your project. ! 👍
