The bedhead of the Lullaby Due has a wing silhouette and is cadenced with visible stitching. Its structure is made from steel with moulded polyurethane foam padding. The bedhead is mounted on the swivel base which can turn 360°, both clockwise and anticlockwise, thanks to a swivel mechanism inside the base. The Lullaby Due’s base is made from poplar plywood and padded with polyurethane foam. The mattress supplied, diameter 220 cm x 20 cm height (see “Beds and mattresses diagram”), is composed of steel pocket springs with wool padding for the winter side and cotton padding for the summer side. The bedstead base is made from plywood with padding in polyurethane foam and upholstery in Poltrona Frau canvas. The Lullaby Due bed is upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather.

Archibald, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, is a wide and deep armchair with a steel structure, padded with moulded polyurethane foam and polyester wadding for greater comfort. It is distinguished by the pleasantly textured leather upholstery and the folded armrests that resemble a shirt collar. Thanks to a process of digital printing on the leather, usually reserved for small luxury leather goods, Felipe Pantone's artwork gives the upholstery a nuanced palette of reds, oranges, yellows, whites and blues reminiscent of the hot and cold temperatures of a heat map. The upholstery is in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® Impact Less, the innovative leather tanned with sustainable components and without the use of chrome for a reduced environmental impact.To emphasize the chromatic vibe of the surface, the base, characterised by four die-cast aluminium feet and a steel frame, has a multicolour chrome finish: a special iridescent paint treatment in colours and light, which gives a brilliant purplish-blue shade. The steel frame is airy and slender. The “T”-shaped beam is separated from the crossbars that support the seat in such a way that the padded part of the sofa appears to float in the air. The load-bearing beam, free of joints, is connected by aluminium profiles in a sophisticated play on interconnections that are clearly visible from the side. The high-tech aesthetic of the metal parts, all of which are finished with matt black epoxy powder paint, contrasts with the warmth and softness of the cushions.
Apparently simple in form, the cushions conceal a wealth of details: from the backrest buttons, a recurring detail of 1980's design and nod to traditional upholstery, to the slight tapering of the joint between the seat cushions and the backrest, for the optimum overlapping of the two elements. I have exclusively worked with Lineaselect for my house renovation project. I have bought ceramic tiles and other bathroom fittings from them at a very good price.
