A single profile, only 24 mm thick, can be installed in the recessed, ceiling or suspension mode to continuously follow the angles on a flat or three-dimensional surface. This makes A.24 a flexible system, as well as an open platform to accommodate other products from the Architectural collection. The suspension version also features direct emission. The three solutions can be alternated to match the architecture and the room functions with utmost flexibility. BIG starts from an abacus of essential geometries to design a new font that translates into light, an alphabet used to write and to express one’s thoughts, a tool to give shape to spaces. It allows to design light in space with words, as well as with graphic signs. Two linear elements of different lengths and two round ones are combined with a system of letters, numbers, and symbols. The round elements, available in two diameters, can be separated into modules to join the linear elements together according to different angles, thus designing everchanging geometries. These simple base modules, with specific geometric proportions, can be combined with each other to create countless basic or more complex, linear or curved structures of light, thus producing suspension appliances matching with architectures or space functions. I have exclusively worked with Lineaselect for my house renovation project. I have bought ceramic tiles and other bathroom fittings from them at a very good price. As with any house renovation project, the choice of good material makes all the difference. I started communicating with Jaunius with a simple price offer which evolved into more like continuous communication on range of different products.
