Eddy is a seating system developed for decorating terraces, decks, porches and patios with style and elegance. The hallmark feature of the Eddy sofa is its light-as-air structure in austenitic stainless steel 316, upholstered entirely in elegant hand-woven polypropylene fiber and available in a palette of sophisticated colors that range from earth tones to bordeaux and olive green. The base of the sofa is in compact laminated panel, while the stainless-steel structure is also available with epoxy powder-coated white, khaki green, wine red or burnished finish. The sofa sits on a perimeter frame in austenitic stainless steel 316 and nylon pads.
The visual lightness of the woven structure contrasts with the generously padded seat and backrest cushions. The A.B.C.D. armchair is a re-edition of the iconic A.B.C. armchair, introduced in 1996. Some substantial changes were made to the new version, launched in 2014 – like the re-design of the base and elimination of the armrest – to give it a softer look. The metal structure of the armchair comes in satin, chrome, burnished, black chrome or champagne finish. The A.B.C.D. armchair can be paired with its namesake ottoman-footstool and is equipped with a state-of-the-art mechanism for reclining the seat back. The design project for the Echoes family of seating grew out of a mature awareness nourished by different ideas and inspirations.
