The starting point was our fancy for Venetian “beaten” glass, for the grinding effect, and for the strong charm of the “unfinished” feel that such kind of process brings to glass. We designed a special glass-blowing and grinding process, which allows to obtain impressive lighting depth in the illuminated object, and to make this beauty accessible or – we might say – democratic.” Pio e Tito Toso. A family of lamps comprised of four different types, with a double-layer artistic glass diffuser obtained by means of the craft still glass blow moulding technique followed by frosting.

A.39 Refractive's patented optical technology was developed to achieve maximum efficiency on a small scale, in compliance with the regulation for the lighting of workspaces.The lens is specially designed to intercept 100% of the flux emitted by the LED and control it with minimum dispersion so as to ensure more than 90% efficiency.
The lens is the primary optical system that collects and redirects the flux without intercepting the geometry of the cell in which it is inserted, thus avoiding a deterioration in performance in terms of quantity and quality of light emission.
The small cell in which the LED and lens are inserted acts only as screen to avoid direct viewing of the LED from certain angles but does not affect the flux emitted, leaving a clean, pure light, whose characteristics are defined solely by the primary optics.

unfortunately, you have to be very careful with this e-shop. they don't respect the customer's purchase withdrawal right in accordance with the applicable EU regulations. Follow-up: following the refusal of my return, I have filed appropriate claims with the Lithuanian Consumer Rights Protection Authority as well as ECC-Net (the EU authority)
