The basic form of the Gople Lamp enhances the beauty of glass, hand-processed according to an ancient Venetian technique that gradually turns white glass into crystal glass by combining both upon blowing, thus making each piece unique. More innovative finishes are added, including silver or copper vacuum metallization.Silver, bronze, copper and blue finishes are made with an innovative and sustainable metal vacuum deposition process.
From the point of view of environmental-friendliness, “sputtering” is the absolutely cleanest coating technology for the type of metal used and because all emissions are abated, in particular those into the atmosphere of sulphuric acid and cyanides produced by galvanic processes.
Solid paint with up to 5% of solvents (compared to 75% of traditional products) is employed for the successive protective clearcoat phase.

Eclisse, designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965, won the Compasso d’Oro Award in 1967 and become ambassador of Italian design worldwide. Eclisse is an avant-garde balance between form and function, design and utility. The concept’s foundation lies in its functionality of adjusting the intensity of light through its rotating inner shade that “eclipses” the light source. In fact, with a fixed outer shell and a moveable inner shell the lamp can provide direct or diffuse light.

Alphabet of light is a language based on light intended to convey freedom, an elementary principle generating an open system. BIG starts from an abacus of essential geometries to design a new font that translates into light, an alphabet used to write and to express one’s thoughts, a tool to give shape to spaces. It allows to design light in space with words, as well as with graphic signs. Two linear elements of different lengths and two round ones are combined with a system of letters, numbers, and symbols. The round elements, available in two diameters, can be separated into modules to join the linear elements together according to different angles, thus designing everchanging geometries. These simple base modules, with specific geometric proportions, can be combined with each other to create countless basic or more complex, linear or curved structures of light, thus producing suspension appliances matching with architectures or space functions. The Stab light are produced with very traditional bohemian handblowing technology. Its handblowing to wooden moulds.The moulds are produced by hand as well, from hard and wet wood.The glass masters are using glass blowing pipe as basic instrument, gathering several layers of glass in variouse colors and by mouth blowing and shaping with hand tools prepares shape which is very close to the moulds shape.In final stage the glass masters puts the pre-shaped hot glass into the mould and finish the piece to the final shape, which is given by exact form of the mould.After the “hotshop” production phase the vases are finished on cutting shop, where additional parts are cutted out and surface is polished to high gloss.This production process stays on extraordinary skills of glass masters, who are passing their experience from generation to generation.
