Mutina brand was established around 30 years ago in Fiorano, province of Modena, Italy. Following the motto “Less is more” of one of the fathers of Italian design, Bruno Munari, Mutina has achieved a level of excellence and is a leading ceramics producer of Italy.
In 2006, the Mutina brand reached the peak of its success by focusing not only on the texture, composition, and scale of the products but also taking detailed care of the creative experimentation. The company started to combine the best technology achievements with the hand works of their skilled professionals to rise above the limits of the material, seeking those perfect colors in the color palette. Assortiment varies from the largest to the smallest of tiles, slabs, or mosaic pieces. Moreover, all of Mutina’s products can be mixed and matched together. Mutina team is not afraid to experiment and combine different styles and materials, thus coming up with innovative, unique, and modern looks.

Azulej collection designed by Patricia Urquiola was a fusion of the rich Portuguese history and tradition of ceramics mixed together with a modern view to the shapes and colors. New natural colors and innovative material represents the brand. 27 different solid patterns, endless combination possibilities, and the timeless style are what you cannot resist after seeing the Azulej collection.
In 2016 Multina has launched the platform named Mutina for Art, a program where contemporary art is a central figure. The program was born out of a constant passion for refined shapes, innovation, and visual inspirations. Mutina for Art shows the brand’s dedication and attention to contemporary art. The goal of the program is to make it a source of inspiration, influence, and unique experience for all creators as well as to stimulate a deep conversation about it.
