The designer intentionally stripped the design of non-essentials, to then focus on “the details, the precise proportions and masterful execution, inherent features that inescapably define the quality of that object”.
The basic idea was to set a piece of wood on a simple metal structure. The first items to grow out of this concept were a coffee/side table and a console, followed by a dining table, desk and a series of cabinets.
The metal structure of the Any Day dining table has uncluttered lines and is available in many finishes, while the tops come in Canaletto walnut or ash veneer; with glossy lacquer finish in a palette of sophisticated shades; or in various types of luxurious marble.
All of the pieces are flawlessly finished, even on the back, so they can also be used as room dividers.

A different stylistic interpretation is expressed by the Echoes S.H. chair and dining chair that pairs the metal structure with cowhide: a classic, eye-catching combination but one that, thanks to the ergonomic contours of the seat and backrest, also ensures the utmost in comfort.
The Echoes S.H. family includes armchairs with and without armrests that coordinate nicely with matching footstools, chairs and dining chairs, stools and a slender chaise longue. The Any Day console combines pure lines and minimalist design, expressed through a great number of finishes that emphasize its outstanding versatility.
The sleek metal structure supports a Canaletto walnut veneered element, complete with practical drawers, that comes in an array of finishes. The top can be made of wood or in various types of marble.

Christophe Pillet is a French designer who has won international acclaim for the spectrum and quality of his creations. Architecture, objects, furniture, art direction: his signature is invariably associated with the finest brands and projects of ever-increasing weight and prestige. Christophe Pillet was educated at the Decorative Arts School in Nice and the Domus Academy in Milan. He works with everything from product and furniture design to interior and set design. Pillet created his own agency in 1993. In the same year he was nominated ‘Designer of the Year’ at the Salon du Meuble de Paris. His customers are L’Oreal, Lacoste, Lancel and the renowned Hôtel Sezz in St Tropez amont others.
