The structure is made entirely of solid ash or turned Canaletto walnut. The traditional joinery requires expert craftsmanship and gently exalts the natural texture and feel of the wood. An ancient art that dates back to Italian rural tradition, the delicate yet strong woven paper rush cord in the seat and backrest is also finely hand-crafted. Soft optional cushions held in place by slender straps add a deeper sense of welcome to the Tessa armchair.

A quest to leverage the highly expressive characteristics of a warm, vibrant material like wood led to the design concept behind the Brig family of coffee tables, side tables and consoles. All the virtues of solid wood are maximized in the pure, finely-crafted lines expressed in the base of the Brig coffee table. It comes in two types of wood – Canaletto walnut or ash – stained in a number of elegant shades. The Brig coffee table can be crafted with the table top in the same wood as the base. But the wood structure can also be paired with a beveled-edge marble top in the following types of marble: Calacatta Gold, Emperador, Black Marquina or White Carrara.

Versatile, flexible, chameleon-like – this is the personality of the Soft Dream seating system. Lightweight, the sofa rises above the floor on elegant cast-metal grey or bronze painted feet, also available in satin, chrome, burnished, champagne or black chrome finish.
Resting on the cowhide-upholstered metal base are the soft, generously-filled goose-down seat and seat back cushions. The A.B.C.D. armchair is a re-edition of the iconic A.B.C. armchair, introduced in 1996. Some substantial changes were made to the new version, launched in 2014 – like the re-design of the base and elimination of the armrest – to give it a softer look. The A.B.C.D. armchair can be paired with its namesake ottoman-footstool and is equipped with a state-of-the-art mechanism for reclining the seat back. Antonio Citterio was born in Meda, Milano, 1950. He started his design office in 1972, graduating in architecture at the Politecnico di Milano in 1975. Between 1987 and 1996 he worked in association with Terry Dwan and, together, they designed buildings in Europe and Japan. In 2000, with Patricia Viel, he founded a practice for architecture and interior design, developing international complex long-term projects, at all scales and in synergy with a qualified network of specialist consultants. The studio has today taken the name of "Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel". Antonio Citterio currently works in the industrial design sector with numerous Italian and foreign companies. In 1987 and in 1994 he was awarded the Compasso d’Oro-ADI. From 2006 to 2016 he has been professor of Architectural Design at the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture in Switzerland.
