A ground sofa, Miloe possesses a versatile and modular spirit, and is easy to shape into inviting configurations that are extremely comfortable, while being designed for both relaxation and conversation. Available in two depths, in either feather-filled or with polyester padding, Miloe adapts any setting, thanks to its ample and flexible footprint which, over the years, has been extended to accommodate a chaise longue as well as a number of highly flexible smaller units. The sensation of comfort and the design’s distinctive graphic profile are enhanced by the soft cushions in various colours and sizes, with optional gros-grain trims in four natural colourways. Upholstered in leather or with a fabric removable covers, this sofa is complemented by a series of low tables in oak, Canaletto walnut, or glass.

A sofa system with soft, generous proportions, that are at the same time light and minimal, designed to be versatile, functional and comfortable. Feather- filled, the Scighera collection includes a wide array of seating as well as modular elements that lend themselves to extensive, flexible configurations. The sofa’s adjustable head-rest and the wide arm-rests (also available in a slim-line version) are the distinguishing features of the design. The seat- back can be moved into various positions and, at rest, is at the same level as the arms, thus emphasising the sofa’s minimal, linear look. These include the club chair and the chaise longue, which can be added to the left or right of the sofa. In addition, the legs are now available in polished aluminium or matte anthracite.

This new system of low tables and foot-rests, suited to any setting, is available in a variety of finishes that can be mixed and matched with the Cassina sofa colour chart. The base 45cm x 45cm module is now complemented by four new size options that can be used as stand-alones or as part of a larger unit. The black-stain oak, natural oak, or Canaletto walnut frame is fitted with a 15mm deep top in a choice of four marble options, in extra-clear glass, in a brick-red, or reflecting coffee-brown shade. Another alternative is wood, with a tapered border veneered to match the frame. Complementing these low tables, the foot-rests feature a wood frame, upholstered in padded polyester and CFC-free expanded polyurethane, with removable leather or fabric covers.

The essential lines of the Naan table are accentuated by the supremely slender rectangular top, which comes in at a mere 10 mm, and is available in a range of materials. Options include smoked oak, where the beauty of the wood is brought to bear thanks to a state-of-the-art manufacturing process. Exposed to very high temperatures, the wood becomes resistant to damp, while taking on a darker hue that sets off the natural vein. The wood becomes harder and more compact, while the colour leaches down into the wood, remaining unchanged over time. Cassina’s premier craftsmanship married with its industrial manufacturing prowess come together in a remarkable display of constructional mastery. The availability of extendable table-tops render the piece exceptionally versatile and suited to any setting.

Modular and versatile, thanks to the variety of elements and configurations available, the Mex-Hi system consists of five different sized bases on which the independent cushions - armrests, backrests and seats - are fastened to create corners, in-line or island compositions. Thanks to the study carried out by Cassina LAB, a collaboration between the Cassina Research and Development Centre and Poli.design at the Milan Polytechnic, the sofa is made with innovative materials in order to make it comfortable and more sensitive to the environment. A 100% recycled ibre, deriving from PET mainly recovered from the sea, has been introduced into the cushion padding. The frame is in tubular steel with elastic belts; the upholstery is removable. A freestanding side table and a pouf/table complete the collection.

Produced by Cassina in both a metal and wood frame, with the same shape changing its personality, depending on which frame material used, the back and the seat always being leather. The simple geometry of the structure is warmer and closer to nature in the walnut or ashwood, and is thus ideal for the home environment. The chair’s lines become more slender and impactful in the cast aluminium option: here the ideal setting is the office or corporate space. The innovative approach used to assemble the leather sections reveals a clever configuration of cuts and folds that highlight the company’s crafts capabilities. The upholstery is an “envelope” into which slips the frame, no stitching in sight. Meticulous attention has been paid to the chair’s functional aspects, primarily through the use of a thermoformed plastic shell coupled with a thin layer of polyurethane. Meantime, the rounded seat enhances the feeling that Eve is a comfortable chair.
