In the version with a 41 cm seat height, Dock is a collection of upholstered elements with a multiple soul, rendered highly flexible by the countless configurations made possible by the numerous elements included in the collection. This horizontally-spanning project is underscored by a highly textured platform: a dynamic element that extends beyond the sides of the sofa to create a support surface. The slender armrests, available in two depths, are generously padded, just like the backrest. The cushions create a play of sizes and proportions, making it possible to put together double-sided, corner and chaise longue compositions, with or without backrests, suitable for use at the centre of the room or for more traditional solutions. Dock comes with a series of accessories offering a vast array of possibilities: it is possible to insert extra elements between the seat cushions, such as comfortable padded armrests, while functional and supporting elements can be placed on the platform, ensuring further customisation possibilities so as to experience and design the system at will. The base frame is in steel. The body is upholstered in either fabric or leather. Dock also comes in a low version virtually flush with the ground.

The metal bending processes used exploit techniques typically used in the aeronautical sector and transport them into the world of outdoor furniture, giving life to a collection with an unmistakable style. Comfort is ensured by generous, welcoming cushions, which are not only soft and relaxing but also developed to be sustainable: the paddings are made from 100% polyester fibre obtained from recycled PET plastic bottles, enveloping a polyurethane core in diversified densities. 510 1500 ml bottles are needed to create the upholstery for a Borea three-seater sofa, and 390 bottles for the two-seater sofa.

The back can be reclined via the elegant hinges in precision cast steel, functional elements designed carefully to maintain the continuous lines and a pleasant appearance. Two rear wheels lend character to the overall form and play a highly functional role, guaranteeing easy portability. With a generous width, Borea immediately looks like a sunbed aimed at the utmost comfort. Its comfort can be further enhanced with the addition of a small, upholstered mattress 6 cm thick. Lightness and simplicity distinguish Formiche (Ants in English) complements. The slender support frame (making reference to the name), with its shape and finish, picks up the theme of the feet in the sofa system. The rounded support of painted steel is connected by crosspiece to support the tops in different shapes, round, oval, or “kidney bean”. Various shapes and heights make it possible to compose different support systems. The tops themselves, made of several finishes, have a fine thickness of 8 mm.

Shaped by an organic development inspired by the form of a soy bean, the typical ingredient in Oriental cuisine, Eda-Mame is a furnishing element with a strong impact created by a sculptural design that can give great incisiveness to a space. A single object that is a fusion of three types of seating – high-back chair, easy chair and ottoman. Its threefold nature lends Eda-Mame extreme versatility in both residential and public settings, and can also highlight areas for co-working, passage and short stays, like hotel lobbies. Made of moulded foam, Eda-Mame is upholstered in a stretch fabric with a light stitching. The support base is made of crosspieces with rounded steel feet connected to each other by a bar.

Ideal for the dining and living areas, the Liagò collection consists of two low storage units with doors and drawers and a tall storage unit with hinged or flap doors. Defined by clear lines and increased thicknesses, these units are inspired by the Venetian architectural element (an outdoor loggia made of wood, often featuring a marble floor) after which they have been named. Just like a building, the 50mm-thick frame of the units hides a functional soul: side and back panels are assembled by means of a “folding” mechanism to create an internal compartment, allowing the passage of electrical cables and other elements. This means that the units can accommodate power supply cables and connections for televisions, monitors, lamps, speakers and other wired devices. Whether placed directly on the floor or raised on steel feet, the Liagò storage units are available in different woods and lacquered in numerous glossy and satin shades, with the marble option for the tops. The interiors are covered with a silky, anti-scratch, anti-fingerprint, matt anthracite material, while the shelves are made of smoked etched glass. The project also includes drawers with an incredibly thin frame and accessories such as pull-out trays in grey Canaletto walnut, guaranteeing additional customisation and versatility. Liagò can be equipped with an internal lighting system and one for the high storage unit’s open compartment. This solution underscores the exceptional elegance of the interiors and allows the objects contained therein to be displayed at best.

Borea is an outdoor dining table characterised by the particular steel frame that supports the large lava stone top. The latter, sourced from Etna, is processed as large, rectangular glazed tiles available in three bright and sophisticated colours: sage, clay and ocean blue. The glazed surface is made from a special material obtained by recovering the glass of discarded TV and computer monitors and applying it to the stone through an exclusive manufacturing process. The table comes in two sizes, accommodating six and eight people respectively. Borea is a complete series of outdoor furniture including, in addition to the dining table, sofas, armchairs, small dining armchairs and small tables.

The only sofa bed in the B&B Italia collection, it features the same seating and back elements as the system of sofas of the same name. By simply translating the seat and tilting the backrest, it transforms easily from a sofa into a bed. Upholstered either in fabric or in leather, it is available in three versions: with a right-hand armrest, with a left-hand armrest and with two armrests. The support base is made of crosspieces with rounded steel feet connected to each other by a bar.
