The light fitting is hung from a Cuoio Saddle Extra leather strap, available in the two finishes Camel and Taupe, with dyed tone-on-tone raw-edge seam and branded Poltrona Frau logo. In the new floor and pendant versions the strap used to hang the lamp is held in place by a metal loop with brushed brass finish.The Xi collection comprises various types of lamps: pendant lamps, lamps fitted to horizontal bars and not, floor arm lamps and table lamps.
In the pendant version, available in various combinations of single or multiple lamps, the Xi lights are fitted to a horizontal bar of adjustable height available in two lengths, 130 cm and 180 cm, and with matt gunmetal grey finish.
The electrical cables have a black finish. The rail structure of the bar makes it possible to move the lights horizontally and fix them in the desired position.
In the table lamp version the light fitting consists of a large lantern positioned on a metal base with natural brass finish. The Cuoio Saddle Extra leather strap supports the lamp and can be used as a handle when moving it. The light can be adjusted using the on/off dimmer touch system.
The floor arm lamp consists of a single extra large pendant lamp. The supporting bar is in brushed burnished steel. The Cuoio Saddle Extra leather strap to which the light fitting is hooked continues down to the base, covering the bottom part of the steel mount. The bottom consists of a circular base in semi-polished Nero Marquina marble topped with a metal counterpoise. The marble base has a sheet metal trim. All metal details of the base have a brushed burnished finish.
The Extra Large Pendant version consists of a single extra large lantern hung using a Cuoio Saddle Extra leather strap. The rose used to attach it to the ceiling is made from aluminium with brushed brass finish.

The backrest frame of the Archibald Stools is made from moulded rigid polyurethane. The internal padding is in soft moulded polyurethane and polyester wadding. The seat frame is made from birch plywood with padding in polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. It is supported by an apron which connects it to the base. The seat is upholstered entirely in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric. The Archibald Stools can come with a wooden 4-legged base, available in two heights, or the classic metal stem. In the former, the feet are in solid ash and come with a Moka or Wenge stain, and there is a rectangular-section stainless steel footrest which has a unidirectional brushed finish on the top side and a mirror-polished finish on the other three sides. In the version with metal base the steel stem swivels and its height can be adjusted using a cushioned gas spring controlled by a stainless steel lever positioned underneath the seat to the right. The stainless steel footrest with rectangular section gradually thins towards the outside. The floor base plate is also made of steel. All visible surfaces are in mirror-polished steel except for the top of the footrest which has a unidirectional brushed finish.

The supporting structure of the Bolero tables is made from solid wood with triangular cross-section. The wood can be ash, with wenge or moka stain, or Canaletto walnut. The top is available in wood or marble. The wood version comes with veneer in wenge- or moka-stained cut ash wood or Canaletto walnut with its distinctive inlay consisting of a criss-cross grain pattern, always matching the legs. The edges are decorated with a solid wood trim. The 220x110 cm and 250x100 cm versions of the Bolero tables and the round version with 150 cm diameter are also available with the top in Calacatta gold marble or Emperador marble, with bevelled edge and semi-polished or polished polyester finish. The 180 cm diameter round version is also available with a Lazy Susan which, resting on the table top rather than fixed to it, is composed of two round flat surfaces of different diameters.

The design of the Martha armchair is based on the encounter of the two main elements of the frame, both in moulded rigid polyurethane. The seat and armrests form part of a single sinuous open profile, the two extremities projecting outwards. The curved and slightly padded backrest appears to float in the air but is actually fixed to the frame with a hidden system. The entire product is supported by a triangular-section wooden easel structure. The seat’s slight incline towards the back ensures optimal comfort and emphasises the armchair’s dynamic design. The four-legged base is made from solid ash available in the Wengé and Moka finishes.
The colour effects and material combinations emphasize the fluidity and lightness of Martha. The outside of the frame is upholstered with a rich shell of Saddle Extra Leather while the inside can be covered in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric. The combination of the two materials is emphasised by the elegant visible-contrast hand-stitching. A soft seat cushion with removable cover in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric completes the product.

The headboard consists of a frame in solid poplar, beech and tulipwood, and birch plywood. The padding is in polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The cushions are made from polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. They are attached to the headboard using zip fasteners and velcro strips. The upholstery of the Bretagne bed creates elegant decorative effects, combining Pelle Frau® leather for the bed frame and headboard with removable fabric covers for the cushions. As an alternative, a version entirely upholstered in leather is also available.

The upper part of the surface features a number of joints that show the craftsmanship of the horizontal slats. The desk pad, made from an MDF panel, is always covered in Cuoio Saddle leather in the colours Tortora or Caffè. The leg is made of metal and upholstered in saddle-leather that matches the desk pad and the fronts of the drawer unit. On the opposite side to the leg, the H_O Desk has a column in Valcamonica porphyry or White porphyry. The H_O President Desk and H_O Executive Desk come in both light and dark versions. The light version sees the White porphyry column, with its white-beige colours, paired with Tortora saddle-leather and the tones of Ash-tinted oak. In the dark version the column in Valcamonica porphyry, with its browny-red tones, is matched with Caffè saddle-leather and the tones of Louro Preto wood. The H_O desks can be accessorised with a modesty panel covered in matching saddle-leather. The saddle-leather, in the two colours, can be either plain or feature a 'square' pattern which is handcrafted to produce a tone-on-tone motif with 16x16 cm chequers.
The H_O drawer unit, which can be positioned to the right or left of the user, but always on the same side as the column, has a poplar plywood structure with Louro Preto or Ash-tinted oak veneer and front in saddle-leather. The drawer unit consists of a drawer and a filing drawer or compartment with door. The joints on the side of the drawer unit show the craftsmanship of the horizontal slats. On the surface, near the column there is an opening through which electric cables can be passed.

The steel frame is airy and slender. The “T”-shaped beam is separated from the crossbars that support the seat in such a way that the padded part of the sofa appears to float in the air. The load-bearing beam, free of joints, is connected by aluminium profiles in a sophisticated play on interconnections that are clearly visible from the side. The high-tech aesthetic of the metal parts, all of which are finished with matt black epoxy powder paint, contrasts with the warmth and softness of the cushions.
Apparently simple in form, the cushions conceal a wealth of details: from the backrest buttons, a recurring detail of 1980's design and nod to traditional upholstery, to the slight tapering of the joint between the seat cushions and the backrest, for the optimum overlapping of the two elements. The cushions, with removable covers in either leather or fabric, are filled with goose down and polyester wadding with a polyurethane foam insert that ensures non-deformability and absolute comfort.

Billie has a rigorous, almost constructivist design that takes up most of the surface of the rug. The graphic is seemingly straightforward, consisting of a few elements highly calibrated in every single detail. Just two graphics on a neutral background: one an intense red, formed by a circle and a vertical line, and the other in anthracite coal grey and made up of two perpendicular lines. The result is a rug with strong formal balance and notable visual impact. In order to respect the original project and proportions, Billie is available in just one size, 250X350 cm, and one colour variant. It is refined with a hand-stitched woollen trim on all four sides. The Billie rug is entirely handmade on wooden looms using the Tibetan knot technique. Its knots are very dense, 70,000 per m2, to create a very compact and soft surface. It is 50% wool and 50% linen, carefully selected natural fibres that give the rug a velvety and slightly glossy appearance with chiaroscuro and different colour effects depending on your angle of perspective.
The Billie rug is distinctive for the saddle-leather label hand-sewn on the back stamped with the Poltrona Frau logo. To keep the corners rigid, two strips of fabric are sewn onto the back of the rug and embroidered with Max Huber’s signature.

Alternatively, the tops can come in Emperador marble with a glossy finish or Calacatta gold marble with a glossy or semi-glossy finish. The Downtown chairs are height-adjustable and can be swivelled by pulling up the lever underneath the seat on the right. The President, Executive and Managerial versions come with the “Syncron” oscillation mechanism for the backrest and seat, which enables the chair to adjust to the body of the user, supporting their movements and providing extraordinary comfort. The chair’s mechanism allows it to be locked into four different positions. Downtown Meeting can swivel thanks to a thrust bearing. Downtown Visitor is equipped with a swivel mechanism with automatic return whose thrust bearing allows the chair to rotate and return to its original position.
